Into the Painting was my 3rd-year animation film.
The film was Made using Photoshop and a bit of After Effects to make some of the backgrounds move.
The film is about finding your own style through your own development.
It came from how a young artist may feel by looking around at master artworks and trying to copy their style instead of finding their own flair.

I wanted to focus on one main character, with other characters (doodles) appearing from 2 courses: Inspired by the painting itself and then one created entirely by the character.
For this, I had 4 "doodles" based around some styles and interpretations of the painting: The spirals, the moon, the tree and movement of the painting itself. While the "doodle" made by the character looks familiar to her self.
